Journey Into Imagination with Figment gets small holiday overlay at Epcot
Over at Epcot, more and more Holiday decorations are moving in. And, in a surprise move, Figment has joined in sporting a new ugly sweater at Journey Into Imagination with Figment.
Fans of the attraction have been wanting an update to this attraction for years. And while this certainly isn’t a tell-tale sign of things to come, it does mean that Disney hasn’t forgotten about it.
Last year we were surprised with the holiday overlay of Living with the Land attraction as it turned into Living with the Land Merry and Bright Nights. Now with this new look for Figment, it appears Epcot is slowly adding more and more seasonal changes to its attractions.
And, starting Nov. 27, Epcot will celebrate global holiday traditions at the Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Holidays. This event will be modified for social distancing and a lower park capacity.
Figment has become a bigger icon for Epcot over the years, even being the main character for the Epcot International Festival of the Arts. And while this sweater, sporting the original Imagination pavilion logo, is a small change, it is certainly not one that went unnoticed, as evidenced on Twitter.
Also, we definitely agree with Jeffrey here and would like to see the sweater design sold in the park. While you can’t get this exact sweater right now, there are a bunch of Disney and pop culture ugly christmas sweaters you can buy online.
