Journey of The Little Mermaid ride receives upgrades at Magic Kingdom
Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid recently reopened from refurbishment in New Fantasyland with several enhancements added to the ride.
As you can see in the above photo, several sea creature figures were added at several points throughout the attraction. Below is what that scene looked like before the refurb.

The “Under the Sea” scene was also given some enhancements with additional figures and new blacklight lighting.

The sculpted hair that once adorned Ariel and Eric in the “Kiss the Girl” scene has been replaced with “real” hair.
