Las Culturistas Culture Awards nominees: ‘Princess Tati’s Bayou Dip,’ Epic Universe
Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang revealed the nominees for the Las Culturistas Culture Awards 2024, which include several theme park attractions.
The Las Culturistas Culture Awards (LCCAs) are all about “celebrating the people, places, and vibes that truly mattered” in popular culture over the past year. The annual awards are created and emceed by the namesake comedian hosts of the explosive podcast “Las Culturistas with Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang.”
Theme Park Nominees of LCCA 2024
Among the 100 categories for 2024, quite a few Las Culturistas Culture Awards nominees are connected to theme parks and attractions, competing against a wide-ranging list of fellow nominees. For example, “Princess Tati’s Bayou Dip” (aka Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, a new log flume attraction at Disney parks) is nominated for Best New Artist alongside Delta Work, Jessel Taank, Lana Del Rey, and Nicholas Galitzine.

“Epcot is Phenomenal” –Stacey J. Aswad, “Must-Do Disney”
The hosts shared the nominees over the course of three episodes of “Las Culturistas” from May 29-31, 2024. Winners will be announced during a sold-out ceremony at Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, N.Y. on June 15, 2024.
The “Las Culturistas” podcast focuses on “the hottest pop-culture moments of the day and the formative cultural experiences” of the past. The show was named Podcast of the Year at the 2023 iHeartPodcast Awards and winner of Outstanding Podcast at the 2024 GLAAD Media Awards.
Rogers and Yang often cite Orlando, Fla. as among their favorite vacation spots, and previously geeked out with Tina Fey about Dark Universe, one of the five worlds opening in 2025 at the new Universal Epic Universe theme park. The “Las Culturistas” hosts and guests have discussed Epcot so frequently as of late that Rogers captioned a recent Instagram Reel, “Epcot is getting so much play on @lasculturistas.”
