Falling snow, sparkling lights, and the smell of holiday treats will soon fill the air with the return of Holidays at Legoland California Resort.
Guests can get their dose of Lego cheer from Nov. 23 – Dec. 31 with plenty of live entertainment, festive décor, and more!
This year, the annual holiday event will feature a new show in Fun Town called “Santa’s Top Elf”! Guests will cheer along as elves at the North Pole work together to make toys in time for Santa’s big night. Kids and adults can enjoy the sounds of the park’s official pop/rock holiday glee club, The Yule Tides, as they perform modern and classic carols.
Fun Town will transform into a winter wonderland filled with snow flurries and glittering holiday lights, as well as host the famous Lego Christmas tree, standing at 30 feet tall and made of more than 245,000 forest green Duplo bricks. The tree is also adorned with over 400 Lego ornaments and 11,000 LED lights. This year’s Lego Christmas tree will feature special Unikitty Lego ornaments to celebrate the park’s upcoming new land, The Lego Movie World, which opens in spring 2020.
For those looking for the perfect holiday photo, life-size Lego models of Santa and his reindeer will be posed and ready in Fun Town. Character encounters with Lego Santa and Lego Toy Soldier will also return, along with a new character – Lego Gingerbread Man!
The Legoland Hotel and Legoland Castle Hotel will also join in on the holiday fun with festive décor, live entertainment, and the ultimate pajama party held throughout the season. Over at Sea Life Aquarium, the fun continues with a special daily dive show and winter crafts.
