Legoland Florida shuttle drops Disney Springs pickup, adds Universal Orlando-area stop
Over the summer, we stumbled upon an unexpected transportation option from Disney Springs. On select days, guests could board the Legoland Express from Disney Springs for direct service to Legoland Florida Resort in Winter Haven. Now that option is no longer offered.

The service operates on select dates, with pick-up locations currently listed at DoubleTree at the Entrance to Universal Orlando and Icon Park. Guests must reserve their seats in advance through Legoland Florida’s website.
A Legoland Florida spokesperson confirmed the Legoland Express launched on May 21, 2026, and that Disney Springs was part of the service since its debut. Now, as of mid-October 2026, Disney Springs is no longer listed on the booking page. Instead, DoubleTree by Hilton at the Entrance to Universal Orlando is now an option.
Attractions Magazine has reached out to Legoland Florida to confirm these changes.
- DoubleTree by Hilton at the Entrance to Universal Orlando, 5780 Major Blvd. — departure at 8:15 a.m.
- Icon Park, 8401 International Drive — departure at 8:30 a.m.

Let Legoland do the driving
Legoland Florida Resort is located in Winter Haven, well outside Orlando’s tourism district. Even from my side of Central Florida, it’s about a 90-minute drive. For out-of-town visitors, navigating unfamiliar roads, interstate traffic and parking (and costs) can add unnecessary stress. The Legoland Express lets guests leave the driving to Mears, arrive more rested and unwind on the ride back after a full day of fun.
The Mears-operated shuttle accommodates wheelchairs, although guests who require a designated wheelchair space should select a wheelchair ticket when booking to ensure availability. Limited stroller storage is also available onboard.
Shuttle schedule
The Legoland Express currently offers two Orlando-area pickup locations. The shuttle departs from the DoubleTree by Hilton at the Entrance to Universal Orlando at 8:15 a.m. and Icon Park at 8:30 a.m. Return service leaves Legoland Florida 30 minutes after the park closes, so the departure time varies by date.

Current operating schedule:
- Oct. 30, 31 and Nov. 1
- Nov. 21 – 29
- Dec. 4-6, 11-13, 17-31
- Jan. 1-3
With round-trip transportation from Icon Park and the Universal Orlando area starting at $8 per person, the Legoland Express offers families a convenient alternative to driving nearly an hour to Winter Haven.
