Live music returns to Busch Gardens’ Food & Wine Festival in Tampa

This year, Busch Gardens Tampa’s Food & Wine Festival not only serves up more than 100 tempting tastes and luscious libations, it also features headliner artists performing in two concerts per evening to help keep guests safe while they enjoy the sounds.

Busch Gardens’ Food & Wine Festival has always been a much-anticipated annual event, and their outdoor concerts, free with park admission, are a big part of the reason why.  But now, for the first time since the festival began, there will be two concerts nightly to allow for limited capacity at each, and the ability to provide safe distancing between guests.

Neal Thurman, park president for Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and Adventure Island, says, “Since our reopening in June, our park teams have safely and successfully hosted multiple productions at our spacious outdoor venues. Through creativity, adaptability, and dedication to guest safety, our staff made it possible for park-goers to once again enjoy live music from some of their favorite artists.”

Concerts take place at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. on select dates in March and April:

  • March 6: Phillip Phillips
  • March 13: Parmalee
  • March 20: Dylan Scott
  • March 27: 38 Special
  • April 2: Sugar Ray
  • April 3: Sister Hazel
  • April 10: LOCASH
  • April 17: Tito Nieves
  • April 24: Starship Featuring Mickey Thomas

The Food & Wine Festival runs each weekend, Friday-Sunday, now through April 25. Concerts will be held on the Festival Field Stage every Saturday in March and April, as well as Friday, April 2. Local musicians will also perform at the Coke Canopy, daily throughout the festival.

Other health and safety measures in the park include required face coverings and temperature checks, and capacity will be strictly limited.

Guests who would like to reserve their space at a concert in advance can make use of the VIP Seating Packages, which provide premium concert seating and a 5-item Sampler Lanyard.
