Fans of plant-based foods and healthy eating have a new reason to rejoice as Disney Springs announces its newest fast-casual outlet, whose goal, according to their website, is to provide a “culinary experience focused on your health,” that also tastes good and is “affordable for all.”

Established by Zachary “Big Zack” Wallace, the outlet began as a food truck in 2017, inspired by Wallace’s childhood in a “food desert” in Southwest Atlanta.

Seeing the effects poor access to fresh, wholesome foods had on his community, he was determined to create awareness around plant-based and pescatarian dining.

Although the menu for Local Green at Disney Springs has not yet been announced, Local Green Atlanta’s menu features Guilty Pleasures as well as items Wallace calls No Regrets.

Want a tiny bit of guilt with your meal? Opt for Local Green entrees such as:

Local Green Atlanta Monsta Shrimp Burger
Monsta Shrimp Burger

-Rappers Delight Salmon Philly (fresh grilled salmon, grilled peppers, mushrooms, and onions, vegan mozzarella, and “Liquid Gold” sauce on a brioche roll).

-Monsta Shrimp Burger (pan-seared jumbo shrimp, house-made slaw, beefsteak tomato, and sriracha mayo).

-“Oh Boy” Classic Cheeseburger (4-ounce Beyond Beef patty with tomato, vegan cheese, pickles, lettuce, onions, ketchup, mustard, and vegan mayo on a vegan brioche bun).

Rosemary Fries are sold separately, but when you’re going “guilty,” why not?

Dedicated to No Regrets? Choose selections such as:

-“Da Badu” kale and quinoa wrap (kale, quinoa, red onions, tomatoes, nutritional yeast, and kale dressing in a spinach wrap, with or without salmon or tuna).

– “3 Stack” Cauliflower taco (roasted cauliflower, grilled onions, tomatoes, avocado, red cabbage, cilantro lime sauce, and sriracha mayo).

There are 16 items to choose from (plus those fries!), many of them vegan. Prices range from $10.99-$17.99. Kid’s Meal (nut-free Beyond Burger with vegan cheese and rosemary fries) is $7.00.

  1. Where in Disney Springs will this be located and what type of building will it be (food truck, kiosk or actual brick and mortar like Blaze or Chicken Guy)?

    1. Thank you for your question, Vinnie. We are trying to get confirmation, as at the time of publishing the story Disney had not yet confirmed if this will be a stand-alone restaurant or a food truck. The original Local Green Atlanta began as a food truck and is now a restaurant. Will update as soon as we have official confirmation.
