These handcrafted delights are inspired by recipes from properties around the country, and each is a subtle nod to its destination, including 2 based on Universal Orlando’s deluxe hotels.

Then, the refreshing flavor of muddled cucumber combined with the delicate perfume of Elderflower evokes the blissful contentment of a garden in summertime in Loews Portofino Bay Resort’s “Cool as a Cucumber,” available at the hotel’s Thirsty Fish wine and beer bar and poolside Splendido Bar & Grill, starting December 1 when the hotel re-opens to guests.

Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando
- ¾ oz. Bacardi Light Rum
- ¾ oz. Plantation Pineapple Rum
- ½ oz. Triple sec
- ½ oz. mango puree
- ½ oz. lime juice
- ½ oz. Giffard Orgeat
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
Combine ingredients in a shaker, add ice and shake. Strain and serve over fresh ice. Garnish with a Yuzu gummy dipped in togarashi.
Cool as a Cucumber
Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando
- ¼ oz. St. Germain Elderflower liqueur
- 1 ¼ oz. Tito’s Vodka
- 2 cucumber slices
- Club soda
Muddle two slices of cucumber. Fill glass with ice, add Elderflower liqueur and vodka. Add splash of lemonade and club soda. Cover with shaker tin and gently shake. Garnish with a cucumber slice and a lemon wheel.
