‘Luminosity’ nighttime show to debut at Gaylord Palms Easter event
Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center will host its seasonal Spring It On event with springtime and Easter activities, including a new nighttime light show.
The Kissimmee, Fla. resort will roll out limited-time activities and vacation specials, many of which can be enjoyed by day guests and overnight bunkers alike.
New in 2024 for Gaylord Palms’ spring festivities, the “Luminosity” light show will perform upon the atrium’s animated curtains to an original score with visuals like lightning, fireflies, and flowers. Also new, Adventure Kids: The Hunt for Hidden Treasure Scavenger Hunt will award guests a prize for finding hidden gems throughout the atrium.
Where eggs are concerned, guests can stroll through Eggspression Garden at their leisure to see giant Easter eggs and bountiful flower arrangements. Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny themselves will greet guests during two weekends.
Other activities for Spring It On include the return of a seasonally offered pirate-themed escape room, a DJ and movies at the resort’s onsite water park, an Easter Sunday buffet at Villa de Flora, and a limited-time facial at Relâche Spa.
The resort previously called its springtime event “Once Upon a Spring.” It was last known as “Spring It On” in 2021.
Spring It On 2024 Schedule at Gaylord Palms
Spring It On officially runs Mar 8-31, 2024, though much of its programming has a different schedule.

A premium package includes all of the above, plus a guaranteed atrium-view room, prime for viewing the “Luminosity” light show.
Gaylord Palms says the Spring It On Resort Credit Package is valid for stays March 8 – May 12, 2024, but the scavenger hunt is currently only publicly scheduled for March 8-31, 2024. There’s a discrepancy there somewhere.
