Machu Picchu: Journey to the Lost City is Orlando’s newest virtual reality experience
Machu Picchu: Journey to the Lost City, a new virtual reality experience inspired by the famous UNESCO World Heritage Site, is now open at the Fever Hub in Orlando, Florida. Combining cinematic storytelling with immersive VR technology, the attraction transports guests through sacred temples, bustling plazas and fantastical landscapes inspired by the legendary Incan citadel.
Developed in collaboration with Virtual Worlds, a studio specializing in immersive technology and virtual reality experiences, Machu Picchu: Journey to the Lost City blends historical inspiration with more imaginative elements designed to appeal to guests of all ages.
The experience replaces the Titanic: A Voyage Through Time VR attraction previously housed at the Fever Hub, located inside The Florida Mall.

A guided journey through history
The approximately 45-minute experience is guided by a robotic companion named Teri, who narrates and leads guests through each chapter of the adventure. Before beginning, visitors can select from several language options for their guide, including both British and American English.
The British English version plays the role relatively straight, while the American English option features the voice of actor Terry Crews, whose energetic performance injects humor and personality into the journey with frequent jokes and commentary throughout the experience.

Limited time experience in Orlando
As with other attractions hosted at the Fever Hub, Machu Picchu: Journey to the Lost City is only scheduled to remain in Orlando for a limited time before making way for another rotating immersive experience. Guests interested in exploring one of the world’s most iconic archaeological wonders without leaving Central Florida may want to visit sooner rather than later.
