By following government advice and local health authorities’ requirements, the attraction has implemented new health and safety procedures, including timed and dated tickets, social distancing guidelines, contactless payment, enhanced cleaning and employee health screenings. The museum will be operating at limited capacity and face coverings must be worn by all guests. Interactive experiences, photo props and the 4-D theatre will not be operating at this time.
“The health of our guests and employees is of utmost importance,” said General Manager Mindy Clements. “The stars have missed seeing their fans!”
Complimentary tickets will be given to medical professionals to thank them for their tireless efforts during the pandemic. For every guest who shares a photo of their experience and tags the attraction, Madame Tussauds New York will donate one ticket to a local healthcare hero.
Special ticket prices are available for a limited time at $19.99. To purchase tickets and view new safety protocols, visit MadameTussauds.com/New-York/en.
