McDonald’s Collector’s Edition cups will spotlight throwbacks such as Grimace, Shrek, Barbie, the Minions, Beanie Babies, and more.
Throw it back with McDonald’s Collector’s Edition cups
What’s old is new again with McDonald’s Collector’s Edition drinkware, launching Aug. 13, 2024 for a limited time. The collection of six cups — available as embossed glass or tritan plastic — pay tribute to vintage (and now collectible) Happy Meal toys and merchandise sold at McDonald’s over the decades in partnership with various brands and film studios.
McDonald’s Collector’s Edition cups display these designs:
- Universal Pictures, featuring Happy Meal toys inspired by the “Shrek” and “Minions” films
- 1970s McDonald’s throwback, featuring nods to the 1976 Grimace mug
- Sanrio, featuring Hello Kitty
- Mattel, featuring Barbie
- TY Beanie Babies
- Coca-Cola

The designs are filled with nods to previous McDonald’s collectibles: Pet Lovin’ Barbie, Hello Kitty Crew Kid, Turbo Cone, Cowpoke McNugget Buddy, and more.
