Meet the builders for Disney’s Cotino community in California

Shea Homes, Davidson Communities, and Woodbridge Pacific have all been recognized for their industry experience and outstanding quality, which will be reflected in the Cotino community.

Cotino’s first phase of development includes a collection of neighborhood parks and more than 300 homes, about one-third in the Longtable Park area designated for homebuyers aged 55+ (the rest will be available to residents of all ages).

Cotino will offer three different single-family home collections: Cottage Collection homes built on sites approximately 50 feet wide, Grand Collection homes on sites about 60 or 70 feet wide, and Estate Collection homes on sites about 90 feet wide and larger. Community developer DMB Development worked alongside award-winning architects and Walt Disney Imagineering to create the collections.

Each collection will offer a variety of floorplans to allow buyers to select the style that suits their needs. Future residents can also work with their selected homebuilder to personalize their homes. Once they select a site and floorplan, buyers can choose from elevations within each design collection, some reflecting the natural beauty of the Coachella Valley and others highlighting the region’s mid-century modern legacy. Each of the three selected builders will construct specific floorplans and elevations within each design collection.

Meet the Builders for Disney’s Cotino Community

• Shea Homes – From contributions to iconic construction projects like the Hoover Dam and the Golden Gate Bridge, the Shea family legacy is rooted in the history of the American landscape. Working in collaboration with top California-based architects, Shea Homes is building all-new floorplans available only in the Cotino community.
• Davidson Communities – The private boutique homebuilder headquartered in Del Mar, Calif., has been building homes since 1978. Davidson is dedicated to building an exceptional product with uncompromising quality from the start of the planning process until the last element is in place.
• Woodbridge Pacific Group – Continually recognized for excellence in architecture, interior design, and community development, the California-based builder brings three decades of integrity, expertise, and dedicated customer service to the Cotino community.

Pre-sales appointments to discuss specific floorplans, home designs, and pricing are expected to begin later this year (subject to availability). The initial sales launch in early 2024 will include a limited inventory from Shea Homes in the Cottage and Grand Collections and some Longtable Park residences for buyers 55+. Additional home sites and builders will be introduced in phases as the community expands. Future phases will include additional single-family home sites and condominiums.
