Meow Wolf Denver is an immersive art experience where worlds converge, portals and wormholes exist, and guests control the environment around them. This fall, it will transition from a temporary installment to a permanent exhibit.

Meow Wolf Denver has found a permanent home in a brand new “sleepy pizza” shaped building, in keeping with its quirky, mind-bending nature. The attraction features 4 floors of interactive exhibits, each connected by “secret passageways” that act as routes for “vertical travel.”

The attraction is the work of hundreds of artists, including 110 artists based in Meow Wolf’s home state of Colorado, whose mission was to design dozens of “converged worlds” for visitors to explore. An additional 79 projects are showcased within the building’s space, as is an original mural designed by Nate Gutierrez, and it’s all backed by a score composed by Cole Bee Wilson.

Meow Wolf partnered with Moment Factory, leaders in projection mapping and interactive technology, to create the live-performance experience “that transforms the venue into an immersive space of discovery where guests can explore and influence the art around them,” says Alexandre Lupien, creative director at Moment Factory.

The locale is filled with projection mapping imagery by day, transitioning into a concert and events venue at night, and onsite dining is available at Meow Wolf Café, where the grab-and-go and dine-in menus are inspired by Denver’s eclectic cuisines. The fast-casual outlet brings local food and beverage vendors together with a shared vision of inclusivity and the blending of cultures.

A large gift shop offers more than 1,500 unique items, from T-shirts to original art crafted by local Denver artists and beyond.

This is the third installment in the Meow Wolf portfolio, along with Santa Fe’s  House of Eternal Return, and Las Vegas’s Omega Mart.

Todd Richins, executive creative producer at Meow Wolf, calls the Denver location the company’s most ambitious project to date, saying, “The Denver exhibition is bound to bend minds, inspire creativity, and touch hearts when we open its doors this fall. From our partnership with artists and collaborators on the venue, to the retail and food spaces within our walls, Meow Wolf Denver is a one-stop immersive and imaginative art experience for the ages.”
