Morimoto Asia will host “Pigs N’ Pints” in collaboration with The Polite Pig this month.

Chef Yuhi Fujinaga of Morimoto Asia will join with Chefs James and Julie Petrakis of The Polite Pig to present a variety of Pan-Asian and Southern-inspired dishes during “Pigs N’ Pints” later this month.

In this second installment of Morimoto Asia’s Guest Chef Series, these award-winning chefs will offer guests dishes that are fusions of the American South and Asia.

This event will take over the entire second floor and outdoor patio of Morimoto Asia, and host food and beverage stations that feature offerings like pork cheek tamales, Dim Sum Dogs (gyoza sausage with fried bao bun), Florida peach-glazed pork belly satay with spicy peanut sauce, Pork Skirt Steak Yakiniku Tacos and house-cured charcuterie. The main offering for the event will be a whole roasted pig that will be sliced and served to guests on the restaurant’s patio.

Pigs N’ Pints will showcase a variety of Florida meat, produce and craft beers, and guests will be able to meet representatives from Front Song Oraganics and Palmetto Creek Farms, as well as representatives from local breweries like Coppertail, Cask & Larder, Crooked Can Brewing Co., Red Light Red Light and Red Cypress.

Pigs N’ Pints will be hosted on Sunday, June 24, from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. at Morimoto Asia in Disney Springs. Tickets are $55 for adults and $25 for children ages 12 and under, and can be purchased in advance online.
