MouseGear gets temporary location as main store closes at Epcot
As part of Epcot’s transformation, the main retail space for the park, MouseGear, has moved to a temporary location as the original space gets a complete makeover.

Originally opening in 1999, MouseGear features the largest selection of merchandise in one space at Epcot, making it the perfect place to find a souvenir during your visit to the park.
The interior of the main location had an industrial theme featuring lots of gears, and Disney characters integrating into them. Aside from a remodel in 2011, the interior remained relatively unchanged since its opening.
Below are a few photos from inside MouseGear taken on Jan. 4, 2020, its final day open with this theme.

On Jan. 5, the temporary location for MouseGear opened across the Innoventions East breezeway in the area that formerly housed Colortopia. There’s no real theming here, aside from some lighted displays featuring Epcot logos.

There’s no word when the updated MouseGear will open, but stay tuned to AttractionsMagazine.com for all the latest info on Epcot’s historic park transformation!
