Nassau Paradise Island Wine & Food Festival debuts in March

The famous Bahamian resort, Atlantis Paradise Island, is entering the food and wine festival space with the inaugural Nassau Paradise Island Wine & Food Festival on March 15-19, 2023.

The event comes after Atlantis’ successful “Taste of Paradise Food and Wine Festival” and has been renamed Nassau Paradise Island Wine & Food Festival to boost the Caribbean nation into the forefront as the ultimate culinary destination.

During the five-day event, the resort will host top chefs, mixologists, master sommeliers, and notable TV personalities as they showcase the Bahamas as a must-visit culinary destination. All-star talent Duff Goldman, Alex Guarnaschelli, JJ Johnson, Aaron Sanchez, Alon Shaya, Michael White, and Andrew Zimmer will host the inaugural event in Nassau.

In addition, Grammy award-winning musician Wyclef Jean will perform on The Royal Deck at the “Jerk Jam” on March 18, and DJ Kim Lee from Netflix’s “Bling Empire” and Duff Goldman will host the closing night “Sugar and Spice” after-party at The Cove Pool.

Festival attendees can participate in events with celebrity chefs, dine in favorite local restaurants like Sip Sip and McKenzie’s Conch Shack, and sample locally produced beers and spirits.

Guests will also experience the newly opened restaurants and bars at Atlantis, including Pranza from Michelin-starred chef Michael White, Cafe Martinique, and The Dilly Club, an offshoot of local favorite Bon Vivants Bar and Cafe.

While the festival highlights the Bahamas as a growing culinary hub, it will also bring awareness to the Atlantis Blue Project Foundation. This foundation, founded in 2005, is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization with the mission to protect and preserve marine wildlife and its endangered habitats through the Bahamas and Caribbean seas.
