Warner Bros. 100th anniversary concert begins worldwide tour in April

2023 marks a century of moviemaking for Warner Bros, and “Candlelight: 100 Years of Warner Bros.” will start its 100-city tour in April as part of the Warner Bros. 100th anniversary celebration.

Presented by Fever, “Candlelight: 100 Years of Warner Bros.” will feature live musicians performing the some of the most iconic soundtracks from the Warner Bros. film and television library in a beautiful, candlelit space.

The Warner Bros. 100th tribute will be “a true celebration of storytelling, music, and creativity,” said Peter van Roden, senior vice president of Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment. “From the musicals that we know and love to the iconic films and television series that have shaped generations, Warner Bros. has long been a leader in entertainment, and we are thrilled to bring this unforgettable event to our fans and music lovers from around the world to honor this momentous occasion.”

  • “Pure Imagination” from “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” (1971)
  • “Tubular Bells” from “The Exorcist” (1973)
  • “Purple Rain” from “Purple Rain” (1984)
  • “Main Theme” from “Batman” (1989)
  • “I’ll Be There for You” from “Friends” (1995)
  • “Dreaming of You” from “Selena” (1997)
  • Suite from “The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring” (2001)
  • “Hogwarts’ Anthem” from “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” (2005)
  • “Time” from “Inception” (2010)
  • “Flight” from “Man of Steel” (2013)

Tour Details

The tour’s first 25 announced stops will be London, New York, Toronto, Melbourne, Sydney, Paris, Chicago, Boston, Detroit, Singapore, Montreal, Dallas, Miami, Madrid, Seattle, Houston, Indianapolis, San Francisco, Atlanta, Brisbane, Milan, São Paulo, Philadelphia, Mexico City – CDMX, and San Diego. Celebrating Every Story

“Candlelight” is part of “Celebrating Every Story,” the year-long campaign in honor of the Warner Bros. 100th anniversary. Other special occasions throughout 2023 include a new documentary about the studio on HBO Max, an update to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour in Hollywood, and a 100-film collection coming to home video via digital, Blu-ray, and DVD.
