A new Buffalo Wild Wings sports bar/restaurant opened today just off U.S. 192, near Walt Disney World. The new location is the largest in Central Florida, with a 7,500-square-foot building and a 3,000-square-foot outdoor patio/bar overlooking a lake.
Tourist sports fans will be able to enjoy the facility’s approximately 50 video monitors (including 3D), 10 large video screens (100-inch) and two movie theatre size main video screens (236-inch), which are among the largest video screens at any restaurant/sports bar in the U.S.
“We think the Disney main gate tourist area needs a sports bar and restaurant where visitors can come together to cheer their hometown team,” said Andrew Gross, CEO/President of Sunshine Restaurant Corp, the Central Florida franchisee. “Buffalo Wild Wings is a nationally recognized brand that both locals and visitors will enjoy.”
Buffalo Wild Wings sports-themed restaurants feature a variety of menu items including Buffalo‐style chicken wings spun in one of 14 signature sauces. There are currently 676 Buffalo Wild Wings locations in 43 states.
The Central Florida Buffalo Wild Wings offer a number of specials throughout the week, including .50¢ wings on Tuesdays and .60¢ boneless wings on Thursdays. They also offer a special VIP/Hospitality discount card just for asking, and military discounts.
The Sunshine Restaurant Corp also recently expanded their Buffalo Wild Wings location in the Crossroads Shopping Center near Downtown Disney with a new 2,000-square-foot patio bar. The company also plans to open 20 Smashburger restaurants in Central Florida, with up to three in the next six months.
The new Wild Wings is located in the Formosa Gardens Village Shopping Center at 3099 Formosa Gardens Blvd. – 1.9 miles west of Disney’s main gate on U.S. 192.
