New Villatel Orlando Resort offers villa rentals on International Drive
Villatel Orlando Resort is now open on International Drive, offering private villa rentals with hotel-style standards and amenities in the heart of Orlando’s tourism district.
Located close to Universal Orlando Resort (approximately 8 minutes away) and Walt Disney World Resort (approximately 20 minutes away), the $500 million resort’s 4- to 9-bedroom villas offer immersive experiences from detailed themed kids’ bedrooms to entertainment spaces, including home theaters, arcades, and game lofts.
“We’re thrilled to welcome guests to Villatel Orlando Resort as we unveil the first phase of a new kind of hospitality that will truly change the way people travel,” said Villatel CEO Stephen Lobell. “For any guest debating the merits of booking a hotel room or a vacation rental in Orlando, our response is: why not get the best of both?”
When it’s completed in 2025, the resort will consist of 526 units: 256 apartment-style suites and 270 grand single-family homes of varied sizes.
Later this year, Villatel Orlando Resort will debut a custom-built resort amenity center, which will include a state-of-the-art community clubhouse, grand pool, adventure water park featuring multi-story slides and lazy river, fully-equipped fitness center, full-service restaurant and grill, wet and dry children’s playgrounds, plus bocce, basketball, and pickle ball courts.
“As excited as we are to bring the first set of villas to market for guests to enjoy, the launch of our remaining 400+ units and sprawling water park and amenity center will really take this destination to another level,” Lobell said.
