New Walt Disney World drone show will soar above Disney Springs
From May 24 through Sept. 2, 2024, drones will take flight above Lake Buena Vista in Disney Springs for “Disney Dreams That Soar,” a new drone show at Walt Disney World Resort.
The limited-time experience will showcase Disney stories that “celebrate the joy of flight,” featuring state-of-the-art choreographed drones accompanied by music and memorable Disney movie quotes.
“Disney Dreams that Soar” is Walt Disney World’s first drone show since “Starbright Holidays” was presented at Disney Springs in 2016.
More Disney Drone Shows
In January, Disneyland Paris Resort debuted “Disney Electrical Sky Parade,” which combines 500 synchronized drones, video projections, lights, and fountains to pay tribute to Disney’s iconic Main Street Electrical Parade.
In 2023, Disneyland Paris guests experienced the “Avengers: Power the Night” drone show at Walt Disney Studios Park.
Wizarding World Drones
Universal Studios Hollywood also featured drones during their version of the “Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle” projection show.
The new “Disney Dreams That Soar” Walt Disney World drone show will appear nightly in the skies above the West Side of Disney Springs from May 24 through Sept. 2, 2024.
