Opening date announced for The Cabins at Fort Wilderness
The newest Disney Vacation Club (DVC) property at Walt Disney World Resort – The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness – will begin opening on July 1, 2024, with additional cabins opening throughout the year.
Located within Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, the new private cabins sleep up to six (some can even accommodate dogs), with a queen-size bed and twin-size bunk beds in the bedroom (plus a queen-size Inova bed in the living area). Cabins also feature a fully equipped kitchen, including a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and full-size oven/range.
Guests booking stays in the cabins also have access to the resort’s amenities include horseback riding at the Tri-Circle-D Ranch, fishing, walking trails, pools, playgrounds, Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long, and Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue.
Important dates for The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness:
- Feb. 1, 2024 – DVC sales for The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort open to existing members. Members can add on by contacting their Disney Vacation Club Guide or calling Member Sales at (800) 500-3990.
- Feb. 15, 2024 – Existing DVC Members who have added on points at The Cabins can begin to book stays online or by calling Member Services at (800) 800-9800.
- Feb. 27, 2024 – DVC sales for The Cabins open to the general public.
- March 12, 2024 – New DVC Members whose home resort is The Cabins can begin booking online or by calling Member Services at (800) 800-9800.
- April 23, 2024 – All DVC members can book stays online or by calling Member Services at (800) 800-9800.
