Outdoor dining resumes at Downtown Disney after COVID-19 restrictions lift

Just a few days after California officials announced they would lift the statewide stay-at-home-order, Disneyland Resort announced that dining establishments on Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure and the Downtown Disney District would be reopening.

Downtown Disney now offers outdoor dining to guests.

Since Dec. 7, restaurants in Downtown Disney and Buena Vista Street remained closed until this past Saturday. It is still unclear if the parks themselves will be able to reopen soon, but until then at least guests can have that tiny taste of magic. (Pun intended!)

Face coverings and social distancing will be implemented throughout the destination. Temperatures checks will also accompany the usual security checkpoint.

Thankfully, the news broke just shy of Downtown Disney’s 20th anniversary! To learn more about that, click here.

Knott’s Berry Farm also has a few dining locations open for outdoor dining in their California Marketplace. Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant is also available for outdoor dining. For more information, visit Knotts.com.
