As a long-time Pillsbury fan, I was thrilled to learn about the Pillsbury Let It Dough Suite at Club Wyndham Midtown 45 in New York City. When I was extended an invitation to experience a night at this suite, I knew it would be sweet! I had never stayed the night at a Club Wyndham property before, let alone in a themed suite at one, so I was very much looking forward to this experience.

- a cookie concierge you can call if you need more cookies throughout your stay (although, I certainly didn’t need any more!)
- gifts from the Pillsbury Doughboy, which can include oven mitts, aprons, sprinkles, and frosting for decorating holiday sweets
- several interactive elements, including a photo booth, a button that lights up the room’s Christmas tree, an electric fireplace, and a phone booth at which you can receive some special messages from the Pillsbury Doughboy himself
- festive décor, including gift decorations, cookie throw pillows, and festive lights, as well as murals that adhere to the brand’s largely blue and white color scheme
As soon as I walked into the suite, I smelled a whiff of a strong Pillsbury scent that immediately immersed me in the sweet suite experience. I literally felt as if I had been transported into the home of the Pillsbury Doughboy surrounded by decorative blue and white wallpaper, photos of the Pillsbury Doughboy, and couch pillows made to resemble the popular round Pillsbury sugar cookies.
While I thought all of the décor was eye-catching (and sweet), the backdrop in the living room portion of the suite made the strongest impression on me.
Since I enjoyed having the ability to make some of my favorite Pillsbury sweets in the room, I wished the oven were just a bit bigger so I could make more at once. That said, I appreciated having peace of mind knowing that the cleanup would be taken care of by the team thanks to the property’s no-cleanup promise.
