Regal Eagle Smokehouse now open at Epcot’s World Showcase
Epcot’s newest restaurant, Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue, has officially opened its doors at the American Adventure pavilion.
The restaurant takes its name from Sam the Eagle, the patriotic Muppet, who plays host to a centennial cook-off at the establishment — a salute to all cook-offs…but mostly barbecue.
The Muppet theming is more on the subtle side, with posters along the walls showing familiar characters as they compete in Sam’s cook-off.
The menu for Regal Eagle features classic backyard barbecue and homestyle craft beers, as well as sandwiches and platters, and even a plant-based option. Some of the options include Kansas City smoked chicken, Memphis dry-rub pork ribs, North Carolina chopped smoked pork butt, and more.
The drink menu offers draft craft brews and ciders from across the country and wines from the west coast, Coca-Cola fountain beverages, and specialty regional cocktails like the Tennessee Lemonade with whiskey and peach.
You can check out the full menu here.
In addition to all the food, there’s also a nearby merchandise cart, where guests can browse exclusive merchandise featuring Sam the Eagle.

The post say Sam the Eagle plays host but I don’t see him anywhere. When does he come out?
He doesn’t come out for meet & greets, it’s just part of the restaurant’s theming.
