Review: Raglan Road’s Mighty St. Patrick’s Festival

We were invited out to Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant at Disney Springs to try a tasting menu and experience some of their entertainment for their St. Patrick’s Day (Week) Mighty Festival.

We started with the non-alcoholic Berry Unlrish which is muddled blueberries, fresh lemon juice, rosemary and honey syrup, plus sparkling lemon Pellegrino. It was really refreshing and tasty!

The Misty Irish Eyed is alcoholic and contains Irish Mist honey, Grace O’Malley gin, italicus, lemon sour, and prosecco. This is a perfect brunch cocktail.

This Truly Scrumpet Goat Fig is caramelized goat’s cheese with a fig and port jam on a chive scrumpet with walnuts, pickled beets, and poached figs. This was the best thing we tried in my, and my husband’s opinion. This is available on the weekend brunch menu.

Next up was the That Salad with Seared Beef, which featured grilled baby gem and mixed greens in a honey wholegrain mustard dressing, confit tomatoes, horseradish cream and crunchy tobacco onions. It’s a nice lighter option.

Dalkey Duo is a Dalkey mustard beer battered Cheshire Heritage pork sausage, Dalkey mustard mayonnaise, and buffalo apple sauce. It’s a classier and better version of a pig in a blanket. We enjoyed it.

We then had a Seafood Sharing BoardThe Pink Panko is salmon with fruit. The Kiss Before Shrimp is a bit spicy. Both of those are on the regular menu. The next two aren’t yet on the guest menu, but may appear soon. They were the Sesame Crusted Tuna, which was over a slaw and Smoked Fish Cake, which was like a crab cake, but fish. Both were very good, I hope they add them to their daily menu.

We ended our mea with Guinness Dark Chocolate Cake. It’s made with soda bread, ice cream, and a whiskey caramel sauce. It was delicious, with a lot of crunch.

The live entertainment this weekend is turned up a notch from their normal live experiences. There will be a lot of different acts at once, inside and outside, throughout St. Patrick’s Day weekend.

There’s a lot of things to eat, drink, and enjoy this during festive event. So get out to Raglan Road at Disney Springs this weekend and enjoy your St. Patrick’s Day shenanigans! 🍀

Don’t worry, if you miss this one, they hold it every year, as well as their annual Irish Hooley Festival. Fins out more at RaglanRoad.com.
