The Edison in Disney Springs adds new menu items

The Edison restaurant in Disney Springs has updated its menu with new items, including a pretzel appetizer, steak entree, chicken sandwich, plant-based dishes, and decadent desserts.

The Edison

The Edison is themed around 1920s culture in the United States of America, an era that functioned under prohibition law forbidding the drinking of alcoholic beverages. So naturally, many hidden places popped up to serve drinks during that time, and The Edison plays into the “speakeasy” concept with their décor and menu.

The Edison – part of the Patina Restaurant Group, which also operates Morimoto Asia and Via Napoli Ristorante E Pizzeria at Walt Disney World – opened in Disney Springs in early 2018 with immersive “Industrial Gothic” décor, nostalgic menu items, carefully crafted cocktails, and nighttime entertainment.

New or updated menu offerings at The Edison include:

  • The Prodigious Pretzel at The Edison ($15.00) – Described as an “impressively large,” sharable pretzel topped with coarse sea salt and served with signature beer cheese sauce and Dijon mustard.
  • Prohibition Chili ($15.00) – Playing on the theme of the prohibition period, this plant-based chili features Impossible beef, black beans, pinto beans, onions, and white cheddar.
