Review: The Knott’s Hotel honors the park’s 100+-year history

The Knott’s Hotel has sat beside the theme park for generations, welcoming visitors from all over the world, and now it’s wrapping up a multi-million dollar renovation that includes improved guest rooms, dining spaces, and tributes to the park’s extensive history.

The creative team at Knott’s Berry Farm wants visitors to feel like the hotel is their second guest house, and you can see this level of care and consideration as you explore the hotel’s amenities and spaces.

When entering the lobby, guests will be greeted by a massive chandelier with light fixtures made of, you guessed it, mason jars. The design is a creative nod to boysenberry containers and matches the space’s upscale farmhouse aesthetic.

All 322 rooms have also been updated to match that modern country feeling while maintaining the founder’s original vision of charm and warmth. Newly updated family rooms include spacious amenities such as a kitchenette and can accommodate up to six guests.

Guests can enjoy multiple dining and drink options, such as Thirty Acres Kitchen, a New American family restaurant with a menu inspired by classic cooking techniques. The restaurant’s name is a nod to the original 30 acres of the Knott’s farm, offering table-service meals or a breakfast buffet every morning.

The Berry Place Gift Shop has everything you might need to stock up on your boysenberry cravings before leaving, including Knott’s Berry Farm plushies, memorabilia, and boysenberry offerings such as syrup and jams.

Knott’s Hotel also offers 20,000 square feet of indoor meeting space, including ballrooms, boardrooms, breakout rooms, and more. All areas have been given a fresh redesign, matching the farmhouse chic aesthetic throughout.

Knott’s Hotel is conveniently located close to many of Orange County, California’s top attractions, and offers guests access to discounted tickets to the theme park. For more information on how to book your stay, visit their website
