New Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance jobs coming to Play Disney Parks
Two new jobs are being added to the Datapad portion of the Play Disney Parks app for the opening of Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.
The two new jobs are called “Distress Signal Received” and “Infiltrate Resistance Recruitment”. When Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance opens on Dec. 5 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Jan. 17, 2020 at Disneyland park, guests will be able to choose between the new jobs as they move through the Resistance clearing and toward the attraction.
Distress Signal Received
If you choose to join the side of the Resistance, you’ll receive a distress signal from Finn on your Datapad, as he is undercover on a Star Destroyer near Batuu. You’ll connect and help him navigate the ship by choosing his path. You might even free Resistance prisoners, reprogram droids and gather information on what the First Order is up to along the way.
Depending on the route you choose for Finn, you will recover items and schematics exclusive to this assignment.
Infiltrate Resistance Recruitment
Those who choose to be First Order loyalists will be tasked with surveilling and reporting back on the status of Resistance supplies. You’ll communicate with a First Order officer, and through her instruction, you’ll scan crates, intercept transmissions, and plant tracking devices from your datapad.
Keep an eye out for the new Star Destroyer icon on your Datapad to take on these new jobs.
