RollerCoaster Tycoon teases 25th anniversary streams and apparel
Atari celebrates the 25th anniversary of the RollerCoaster Tycoon game this month, and fans are invited to participate in the occasion.

RollerCoaster Tycoon Apparel
March 28, 2024, Atari will release new RollerCoaster Tycoon apparel and collectibles on its website (where a selection of non-birthday merchandise is active now).
RollerCoaster Tycoon Creator Interview
On March 31, 2024 — the game’s official quarter-century birth date, marking the day in 1999 when it debuted — fans can watch RollerCoaster Tycoon livestreams, experience in-game perks while playing, and watch interviews with the game’s creator, Chris Sawyer. He developed the original RollerCoaster Tycoon from his home in the Scottish Highlands in the ’90s. Atari has not announced when and how fans can watch the interview on March 31.

“We are excited to celebrate such an important milestone with Chris and all RollerCoaster Tycoon fans,” said Wade Rosen, chairman and CEO of Atari. “RollerCoaster Tycoon is a rare gaming franchise that has sustained such popularity and an active player base for two and a half decades.”
More for RollerCoaster Tycoon Fans
Last November, Atari released “RollerCoaster Tycoon Adventures Deluxe” on digital and physical gaming platforms.
Fans can join the RollerCoaster Tycoon Discord server here.
Coaster aficionados may remember when Epcot offered another way to build (and ride) your own roller coaster, The Sum of All Thrills, within the now-defunct Innoventions.
