SeaWorld San Antonio will welcome a fun summer season on May 18 with the debut of the interactive Sesame Street Birthday Party Parade, featuring everyone’s favorite furry monsters.
The colorful parade, part of Sesame Street’s year-long 50th anniversary celebration, will feature 10 themed floats, including Mr. Hooper’s Store and Count’s Castle. Elmo and friends will join over 20 dancers to entertain and engage with guests during the 17-minute experience.
The parade will float through SeaWorld San Antonio on May 18, May 25-26, June 1, June 8, and June 14 – Aug. 11 (excluding Wednesdays), and is included with park admission.
The new Sesame Street Birthday Party Parade will feature birthday-themed décor, cupcakes, and a brand-new birthday song. An interactive parade stop will get everyone on their feet to dance and clap along with the Sesame Street gang as they’re asked to “put their party hats on and blow out the candles.”
“Sesame Street has had a long and popular presence in our park,” said Roland Garcia, SeaWorld San Antonio’s vice president of entertainment. “We’re delighted to expand our entertainment offerings for families and kids with this brand-new, engaging and endearing parade through the park. No doubt it will offer our guests some great opportunities for phenomenal photos.”
A bundled package that includes access to a reserved VIP parade-viewing area and Dine with Elmo & Friends will be available for $35 for guests ages 10 and older, and $26 for guests ages 3-9.
