Thanks to the Disney community’s passion for Mickey fashion and desire to support great causes, the “Share Your Ears” campaign with Make-A-Wish has been extended to Nov. 27!
The Walt Disney Company has decided to keep things going by setting a new goal, upping the original donation from $2 million to $3 million. Fans are encouraged to post photos with their Mickey and Minnie ears on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram with the hashtag #ShareYourEars – for each photo, Disney will donate $5 to Make-A-Wish.
“In 2019, we’ve taken our collaboration with Make-A-Wish to a new level. This year’s #ShareYourEars campaign is our biggest, yet. This year, we’re giving up to $3 million – our largest donation, ever,” said Bob Chapek, chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Consumer Products.
Don’t own a pair of Mickey ears? Don’t sweat it! You can get creative with two bagels, two of your Disney coffee mugs, or even just your hands! If you’re planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, or Disneyland Paris, try to snap a shot in front of the #ShareYourEars murals in the parks, all exclusively designed for the campaign by Walt Disney Imagineering.
So grab your friends, get out there, and ‘Share Your Ears’ on social media to support a great cause!
