Six Flags Discovery Kingdom announces new Rainforest Trail
Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Northern California has announced a new addition to its park, The Rainforest Trail.

The new Rainforest Trail walkthrough experience will take visitors into the tropics to encounter exotic animals, including colorful fish, a sloth, over 500 butterflies from all over the world, and more. Beautiful water features and plant life will add to the experience.
In addition, the park will debut an updated version of its Shark Experience. To complement the existing underwater tunnel and viewing windows, the 300,000-gallon exhibit will have new audio and visual enhancements and “interactive education opportunities.”
For 2023, Discovery Kingdom will also introduce several new animal interaction programs, including Dolphin Discovery, a swim with dolphins; Wildlife Adventure Tour, a private tour to meet many of the park’s animals; Sharks in the Dark, a sleepover in the Shark Experience; and Backstage Safari, a behind-the-scenes tour of the park’s animal care facilities.
