Six Flags Fright Fest celebrates 30th anniversary with ‘Saw’ and ‘Conjuring’ haunted houses at Magic Mountain

Six Flags Magic Mountain, the thrill capital of the world, is celebrating 30 years of Fright Fest with 30 nights of fright on select evenings in September and October. New this year are two haunted houses featuring the popular film franchises “Saw” and “The Conjuring.”

“We’re excited to be bringing an unparalleled experience of fear and excitement to Southern
California in honor of our 30th Fright Fest anniversary,” said Six Flags Magic Mountain Park
President Don McCoy. “We’re upping the scare factor with 30 nights of frights with the addition
of two new haunted mazes, eerie new ghouls and monsters, the expansion of one of the event’s
most popular scare zones, and so much more. Fright Fest is back and it’s sure to be a party to
die for!”

Fright Fest will feature eight haunted houses:

  • The Conjuring
  • Saw X
  • Condemned House Party
  • Willoughby’s Resurrected
  • Truth or Dare
  • Vault 666 Unlocked
  • Sewer of Souls
  • Aftermath 2: Chaos Rising

If it’s live entertainment you’re looking for, Fright Fest has you covered. Invasion brings a new alien experience to the Full Throttle Stage featuring live DJs, interactive games and extraterrestrial creatures. Returning are the popular Sliders of the Night as the clowns of City Under Siege perform a competition of slide or die.
