Six Flags parks opening dates 2026

Find out the opening date for the Six Flags park closest to you as its properties prepare for the 2026 season.

Many (but not all) Six Flags parks, including parks formerly belonging to Cedar Fair prior to both companies’ 2024 merger, operate on a seasonal calendar. They close for the winter and reopen each spring, sometimes with new attractions to debut and always with routine off-season maintenance.

A handful of Six Flags parks will open new roller coasters in 2026, such as the Tormenta Rampaging Run dive coaster at Six Flags Over Texas and the Speedway Stunt Coaster family boomerang coaster at Six Flags México. Some parks are even looking ahead at 2027, such as Carowinds, which recently teased a mystery announcement.

    1. Hi, Lisa. If you purchase a Schlitterbahn Prestige Pass, you’ll receive admission to all Six Flags parks, including both Schlitterbahn parks. If you purchase a Schlitterbahn Gold Pass, you can purchase an add-on to receive admission to the other parks.
