On April 3 and April 10, 2022, the park will offer a quiet space for guests with special needs, giving them and their companions the chance to take a break from the fast pace of the park and enjoy a less stimulating environment.

During the first two Sundays in April, a selection of rides with a mild to moderate sensory rating will be open from 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m., and a ride sensory ratings guide will be available so that visitors can make informed choices.

These measures will ensure the park is as quiet as possible, but guests can also take advantage of the low sensory space as needed, to relax and reset before heading back out for more fun.

The move adds Six Flags St. Louis to a growing list of parks and locations – such as Universal Studios Florida and Promenade at Sunset Walk – who have recently taken steps to make visits comfortable for the full spectrum of visitors’ sensory needs.

Guests with cognitive disorders and physical impairments who require additional assistance with issues such as waiting in line, visual assistance, or accessible rides, can visit AccessibilityCard.org. The website also has information on what types of accommodations are available, and more.

The process is easy: simply complete the short form online, after which you will receive a temporary digital accessibility card to download or to print. A card will be emailed once verified and approved. When arriving at an attraction, show the card to park staff to access available accommodations.

Visitors must request a card at least 48 hours prior to arrival at the park. Guests must be 18 years old and up to request a card for themselves.
