SkyRide reopens at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay

SkyRide at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay reopened on Feb. 2, 2024, once again providing bird’s eye views of the park from 50 feet in the air.

Guests will cruise above the park on a sky-high cable car adventure over the Serengeti Plain and Stanleyville area, catching glimpses along the way of the Kumba coaster, Congo River Rapids, and the Stanley Falls Flume.

Know Before You Go

  • Riders must be 56” tall and at least 14 years of age (or accompanied by a supervising companion)
  • Maximum of three guests over 56” per cable car
  • Tickets are $5 per person for a one-way ride from Stanleyville station to the Cheetah Hunt Plaza or from the Cheetah Hunt Plaza station to the Stanleyville station (no round-trip tickets available). Busch Gardens Tampa Busch Bucks will not be accepted.
  • Busch Gardens Annual Pass Members, Fun Card holders, or Preschool holders (accompanied by an adult) ride free. Pass Members cannot use their guest tickets for SkyRide.

The Busch Gardens SkyRide operates from park opening until dusk (weather permitting). If the SkyRide is not running due to inclement weather (and does not reopen), the company-wide Weather-or-Not policy allows guests to request a readmit or refund at Guest Relations.
