Bikini Bottom theme park land opening with 7 ‘SpongeBob SquarePants’ rides
SpongeBob’s Bikini Bottom will open with seven rides at The Land of Legends theme park in Türkiye, alongside other new Nickelodeon areas themed to “Paw Patrol” and “Star Trek.”
Bikini Bottom is real! The Land of Legends theme park in Türkiye will debut 14 rides as part of the new Nickelodeon Land, opening on Jan. 15, 2025 and spread across three distinct zones:
- seven rides in Bikini Bottom (themed to “SpongeBob SquarePants”)
- a simulator themed to “Star Trek: Prodigy“
- six rides in Adventure Bay Paw Patrol
plus live entertainment and a Nickelodeon hotel.
The Land of Legends revealed the full lineup on Nov. 12, 2024. Below you’ll find all the “SpongeBob,” “Star Trek,” and “Paw Patrol” theme park attractions coming to Nickelodeon Land, as well as official descriptions from The Land of Legends.
Nickelodeon Land theme park zone #1: Bikini Bottom, home of SpongeBob
Taking place entirely indoors — so as to simulate being underwater — the Bikini Bottom theme park area will include seven “SpongeBob SquarePants” rides and a character meet & greet.
SpongeBob’s Crazy Carnival Ride
When Mr. Krabs invites guests to try their luck at his collection of zany, ride-through carnival midway games, his arch-rival Plankton hatches an all-new, evil plan to steal the Krabby Patty secret formula once and for all. This hilariously addictive interactive dark ride sends guests through seafloor scenes brought to life through vibrant sets, special effects, animatronics, and vivid integrated projections, fully “submersing” riders in the nautical nonsense of “SpongeBob SquarePants”!

A version of SpongeBob’s Crazy Carnival Ride first opened in March 2024 in Las Vegas, Nev. We saw a sneak peek of the Mr. Krabs animatronic during IAAPA Expo 2023 in Orlando, Fla.

Nickelodeon Land theme park zone #2: Star Trek: Wild Galaxy
SpongeBob’s not the only Nickelodeon character starring in his own theme park rides at The Land of Legends. Described as a “5D” theater simulator, Star Trek: Wild Galaxy is based on Nickelodeon’s “Star Trek: Prodigy” animated series.
The back door of the space shuttle is open! Take your seats and fasten your seat belts. When you’re all set for take-off, the lights will switch off and you’ll embark on an epic space journey. Listen carefully to Dal and Gwyn’s conversation, because you don’t want to miss any of the planets.

Joining the “Star Trek” and “SpongeBob” rides in the lineup of Nickelodeon Land’s theme park zones is Adventure Bay Paw Patrol. The outdoor area welcomes guests with six rides and a stage for live entertainment.

Come on, get behind the wheel in Traffic Trouble! Whether you want to show off your driving skills or improve yourself. But be careful, because Mayor Humdinger can mislead you at any time by placing obstacles on the road. Stay on course, avoid crashing into other vehicles, and show us your mastery.
Remember, traffic rules are very important here: stop on red, wait on yellow, pass on green.

How about helicopter pilot training with Skye’s Flyers? Join Skye — the brave, high-flying pup of Paw Patrol — for some helicopter pilot training! Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Antalya next door to the theme park
In addition to Nickelodeon Land with “Paw Patrol,” “Star Trek,” and “SpongeBob” theme park rides, The Land of Legends will open Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Antalya on Jan. 15, 2025. Guest rooms will be themed to the three series represented in the park, as well as “Dora” and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.”
The two other locations in the Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts chain are in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and Riviera Maya, Mexico. An additional location will open in Kissimmee, Fla. near Orlando in 2026.
