First look at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Play Disney Parks app
We’ve gotten our first glimpse at the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge gameboards added to the Play Disney Parks app, which allows guests to interact with select attraction queues, answer Disney trivia, and now – experience the world of Black Spire Outpost through the Star Wars Datapad.

The app, just updated today, now features a whimsical, cartoon look at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, with glimpses of droids, X-wings, a TIE Eschelon, and the Millennium Falcon itself.

There is also a cute nod to a long-rumored Bantha attraction that was reportedly cut from the final version of the land, if you zoom out enough.

We can also see cartoonized versions of the attractions Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance – which will open at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World later this year.

There is a preview video feature currently in the app, which will give you a glimpse of the Star Wars Datapad. The Datapad will give guests the ability to hack into droids, scan encrypted cargo, tune into transmissions from the First Order and Resistance, translate galactic languages, and even help prepare the Falcon for hyperspace travel.
You can check out a screen recording of the app, as well as the preview video below:
The app is currently free to download, and is available via the iOS App Store and Google Play.
