Steven Spielberg’s Olympics opening ceremonies intro
Steven Spielberg narrated “Land of Stories,” a short film that premiered at the start of the Paris 2024 Olympics opening ceremonies on July 26. Spielberg performed his prerecorded segments last November on a soundstage at Universal Studios Hollywood in California, though his surroundings in the short film are distinctly Parisian thanks to special-effects artists at Industrial Light & Magic.

“Steven Spielberg is one of the world’s greatest storytellers,” said Molly Solomon, president and executive producer of NBC Olympics Production. “For decades, we have been moved to experience the full range of human emotions through his fully immersive storytelling style. It was a thrill to see Steven so excited to speak about the magic of the Olympics — from the moments we all remember to the potential of the current athletes. It feels like the perfect prelude to the Paris Games.”

Though Spielberg appeared on camera during “Land of Stories,” Universal did not cite him (nor anyone else) as the director of the Olympics opening ceremony’s short film.
Spielberg and Universal theme parks
Two of Spielberg’s classic Universal films — “Jaws” and “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial” — take center stage in the new “Universal Mega Movie Parade” at Universal Studios Florida in Orlando. In the same park, Spielberg himself appears in the E.T. Adventure attraction via video, alerting guests of trouble on E.T.’s home planet and recruiting their help.
Spielberg also currently serves as creative consultant of Universal Epic Universe, the new theme park opening next year in Orlando. Hear him and other artists discuss the new park in this behind-the-scenes video:

Steven Spielberg is such a traitor. He actually made Biden’s commercials. Biden is stupid dumb and has Parkinson’s. How could anybody stop and lie to the public like he did to make everything look good. We are on a Steven Spielberg anything
