‘Stranger Things 5’ at Target with Demogorgon popcorn bucket
“Stranger Things 5” arrives at Target with mini-stores and exclusive merchandise, including the Demogorgon popcorn bucket, ahead of the final season of the Netflix series.
As of Oct. 5, 2025, your local Target may have its own dedicated in-store section for all things “Stranger Things 5.”
We found the section in our local Target, which appeared nearly identical to the concept art above; it had one centerpiece display and an additional entire aisle filled with “Stranger Things” merchandise, much of it exclusive and new for season 5.
Dozens of exclusive “Stranger Things” merchandise items are available at Target, including the Demogorgon popcorn bucket, an “upside-down” Jansport backpack, Max’s Walkman power bank, a Walkie Talkie phone case, and a 1980s-inspired Gatorade bottle.
There’s also lots of merchandise tying in with WSQK The Squawk, a radio station presumably featured as part of the top-secret storyline for “Stranger Things” season 5.
We even spotted Demogorgon Crunch, a syrup-flavored cereal, as well as a 1987 Special Edition of Frosted Flakes.
Target is airing a nine-part commercial campaign featuring an original story set in the “Stranger Things” world.
“Stranger Things 5” releases on Netflix in three batches of episodes: Nov. 26 (Thanksgiving Eve), Dec. 25 (Christmas Day), and the series finale on Dec. 31 (New Year’s Eve).
