Sun Princess ship’s first season of Hanukkah, Christmas cruises
The Sun Princess ship from Princess Cruises will celebrate its first holiday season with a number of limited-time entertainment, food, and activities as part of Holidays at Sea.

Holidays at Sea will take place from Nov. 30, 2024 – Jan. 1, 2025 onboard the Sun Princess cruise ship.
The festivities include:
- Tree Lighting Celebration at the beginning of each cruise
- “A Jazz Era Holiday Tribute” performed by the Princess World Orchestra
- Polar Pals puppets, inspired by the Northern Lights, roaming the ship
- Story time and meet & greets with Santa Claus
- Scavenger hunt for Stanley the Bear (the Princess mascot) hidden on the ship
- Holiday movie marathon
- Dreidel Spin-Off game
- Holiday trivia
- Seasonal menu items like Thanksgiving turkey, Hanukkah latkes, and Christmas prime rib
The Sun Princess will also host religious services during the holiday season:
- Hanukkah candle-lighting and services
- Christmas Eve Protestant service
- Christmas Eve Catholic service
- Interdenominational Christmas and church services

The Sun Princess recently arrived in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. for voyages to the Caribbean. Before its Florida arrival, the Princess Cruises ship had debuted in February 2024 in the Mediterranean.
