Nintendo fans can now add cuddly friends to their collection, as Build-A-Bear Workshop has recently added a new Super Mario collection to their lineup.

Builders can craft a variety of friends from the Super Mario universe, including a Mario Bear, Yoshi, and Bowser. Toad is also available, but comes pre-stuffed rather than being a buildable option.

Mario-themed costumes are also available for the bears, including a Luigi costume, a Princess Peach costume, and a red Super Mario hoodie featuring Mario and Yoshi. You can also buy a set of three wrist accessories for your bear that includes a Yoshi egg, a Super Star, and a Mushroom.

As with all Build-A-Bear creations, guests can add sound effects to their bears. With the Super Mario collection, guests can choose between the Super Mario Bros. Theme Song, or 5-in-1 sayings from Bowser himself. These options are $7 each.

“Super Mario is a classic game franchise many of our guests know and love, and we’ve had a lot of fun bringing these characters into furry friend form,” said Jennifer Kretchmar, chief product officer for Build-A-Bear Workshop.

Currently, all of the new Nintendo offerings are available online and in stores, with Bowser only being available in select stores. The character creations range from $10.50 to $28 each, and costumes and accessories are between $8.50 to $16.

“Bringing beloved characters like Mario, Yoshi and Bowser to Build-A-Bear aligns our shared goal of engaging kids and families in new ways,” said Tom Prata, senior vice president of strategic initiatives for Nintendo of America. “Now, even the youngest member of the family can interact with Nintendo by creating their own powered-up furry friend.”
