Celebrate the holiday season at Santa’s favorite resort.

In addition to meet-and-greets with the visitors from the North Pole, guests can enjoy other holiday favorites during the celebration like bedtime elf tuck-ins, a dancing lights show, and a 2,000-pound life-size holiday scene made entirely out of chocolate.

The full slates of activities for the holidays at the Swan and Dolphin include:

Santa and Mrs. Claus Meet-and-Greets

Come and meet Santa, Mrs. Claus, and Kandy Kane, all decked out in their vacation attire, over in Santa’s Tiki Hut on select nights. This fun photo-op is filled with Florida flair, reindeer, flamingos, and holiday cheer.

A Florida Snowfall and Tree Lighting Ceremony

The Swan and Dolphin’s holiday tree, complete with continuously changing lights, is back to brighten up the season. Throughout December, guests can experience the transformation of the lobby into a festive display featuring the 24-foot-tall Christmas tree.

Regularly timed snowfalls indoors will complete the holiday scene. On select nights, guests can join Mrs. Claus in the Dolphin lobby for a special Christmas tree lighting starting at 6 p.m. This ceremony is then followed by hot holiday drinks and crafts for kids at Santa’s Tiki Hut.

Bedtime Elf Tuck-Ins

On select nights starting Nov. 30, elves will deliver milk in a souvenir cup, cookies, and a storybook to resort rooms. Elves, fully dressed in costume, will read a bedtime story and tuck kids in for bedtime.

The price for this add-on varies by date, and a service charge of 24 percent is added, in addition to tax. Reservations are required, and space is limited. To book a Bedtime Elf Tuck-In, call (407) 934-4206.

Life-Size Chocolate Holiday Santa Scene

Made entirely out of chocolate, this life-size sculpture weighs approximately 2,000 pounds. The sculpture, created by two-time world pastry champion and the resort’s executive pastry chef, Laurent Branlard, can be found in the lobby of the Swan.

The display features a chocolate Santa sitting in his chair; a 7-foot-tall, 400-pound chocolate nutcracker; a chocolate fireplace; chocolate Christmas tree; and a chocolate toy train. The scene will be on display in the lobby of the Swan throughout December and is 100 percent edible (though not available for tasting, sadly).

Dazzling Lights Show

A musical light show will transform the outdoor causeway every night into a holiday spectacular with dancing illuminated palm trees and Christmas tunes. These performances occur regularly from sunset through 10 p.m. each evening.

Magic Keys for Santa on Christmas Eve

Kids can hang a magic key on their door to help Santa deliver presents to each guest room on Christmas Eve. These magic keys will be available on Dec. 24 at the concierge desk.
