Taco Bell retirement community coming to San Diego for two days
A Taco Bell retirement home? It’s a thing, or at least it will be for one weekend this August in San Diego, Calif. Would you stay there?

If you’ve ever thought, “Taco Bell is great, but I just wish they’d build a retirement community,” then today is your lucky day. Taco Bell will operate a limited-time “early retirement community” called The Cantinas from Aug. 17-18, 2024 in San Diego, Calif.
The restaurant chain describes The Cantinas as “a Taco Bell-fueled, sun-soaked experience filled with senior-inspired recreation and cross-generational activities.” Such amenities will include aerobics, knitting circles, painting classes, golf, croquet, and pickleball — plus, of course, Taco Bell.
Tickets to the Taco Bell retirement community will only be available to purchase for Taco Bell Rewards Members, ages 21+. Availability will launch July 16, 2024 at 12 p.m. ET in the Taco Bell app.
Access will cost $50 for a day pass or $150 for a weekend membership, providing overnight accommodations. Both packages include access for the ticket-holder and one guest.
