‘The Cat in the Hat’ movie food and drinks: Ice cream, colorful treats and more
“The Cat in the Hat” is heading to theaters Nov. 6, 2026, and Cold Stone Creamery and Wetzel’s Pretzels are celebrating with colorful movie-inspired food and drinks.
Warner Bros. Pictures Animation’s “The Cat in the Hat” arrives in theaters Nov. 6, and Cold Stone Creamery and Wetzel’s Pretzels are celebrating with colorful, limited-time treats and movie-themed sweepstakes. Cold Stone Creamery and Wetzel’s Pretzels have both launched limited-time treats tied to the film, plus sweepstakes with a private screening as the grand prize.

The Cat in the Hat treats at Cold Stone Creamery participating locations nationwide are available through Dec. 1, 2026.
The Cat in the Hat’s Cotton Candy Catastrophe
This is the headliner “Creation” at Cold Stone Creamery for the Cat in the Hat promotion. It combines Cotton Candy Ice Cream, OREO Cookies, the Cat’s Confetti Sprinkles, and whipped topping. Cold Stone Creamery also says Cotton Candy Ice Cream is the event’s promotional flavor.
Cake Full of Things
Built for party tables, this ice cream cake layers moist Red Velvet Cake with Cotton Candy Ice Cream and The Cat’s Confetti Sprinkles, all wrapped in fluffy white frosting featuring The Cat in the Hat.
The Cat’s Confetti Waffle Bowl and Waffle Cone
Guests can enjoy the Cotton Candy Catastrophe in a themed Confetti Waffle Bowl or Confetti Waffle Cone for a little extra color.

Sweepstakes: Fans can enter The Cat in the Hat Sweepstakes now through Nov. 7, 2026. One winner receives a private screening of the movie in their hometown and a $100 Cold Stone Creamery gift card. Check the official rules for eligibility details.
Wetzel’s Pretzels
Wetzel’s is going the drink route. The company introduced The Things’ Blue Lemonade Freeze, inspired by the film’s mischievous Things characters. The drink layers cherry boba with frozen lemonade and blue raspberry granita. Wetzel’s calls it a playful twist on two of its classic frozen drink flavors. The chain suggests pairing it with Dog Bites (100% all-beef mini hot dogs wrapped in pretzel dough) or warm Pizza Bitz topped with pepperoni and a three-cheese blend.
