The Minions are taking over Universal Studios Hollywood

As Universal Studios Hollywood prepares for the theatrical release of Illumination and Universal Picture’s newest film, “Minions: The Rise of Gru,” on July 1, 2022, the mischievous Minions are taking over the theme park.

Beginning June 27, 2022, and continuing through July 17, 2022, guests can meet the newest Minion, Otto – along with fan favorites Jerry and Dave – at Universal Plaza before heading over to the park’s popular “Despicable Me Minion Mayhem” ride.

Through Aug. 14, 2022, the Minion activation will also feature exclusive experiences, including interacting with a 16-foot Minion squishy and engaging in a specially-created Minion-themed game.
