Tigris opening date announced for Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay announced this morning that Tigris, the park’s new triple-launch steel roller coaster, will open to guests on Friday, April 19.

This new attraction will be Florida’s tallest launch coaster and the ninth coaster to join the park’s lineup.
Tigris will take riders on a journey through looping twists, forward and backward motion, drops, a 150-foot lunge toward the sky, and an inverted heartland roll, reaching a top speed of more than 60 miles per hour. Riders will travel on more than 1,800 feet of steel track designed to emulate the agility of the tiger.

It looks fun for what it is but why, OH WHY do high capacity parks build such low capacity (per hour) attractions. The lines are going to be INSANE!
