Country Bears and Baymax headline Tokyo Disney’s summer slate
The Country Bears’ Vacation Jamboree, a Baymax cavalcade, and more will return to Tokyo Disney for a sunny and “soaked” summer celebration.

Tokyo Disney Resort’s summer season officially runs July 2 – Sept. 18, 2024, but several offerings have different dates.

Vacation Jamboree with the Country Bears
The summertime-themed variation of Country Bear Jamboree will perform at Tokyo Disneyland’s Country Bear Theater from May 17 – Nov. 7, 2024.
The show, titled Vacation Jamboree, involves the familiar bears singing different ditties about camping, swimming, and the great outdoors. This will be Vacation Jamboree’s first residency in Tokyo in five years.

When this version of the attraction previously operated in the U.S., it was known as the Country Bear Vacation Hoedown. It was last performed in Florida in 1992 and in California in 2001.
Street Entertainment with Baymax
Water-themed (and water-blasting) entertainment will take to the streets of Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea from July 2 – Sept. 18, 2024.

The returning “Baymax’s Mission: Cool Down” will glide along the Tokyo Disneyland parade route three times daily. Baymax from “Big Hero 6” is all about maintaining the health of his companions, and on hot summer days, this purpose extends to park guests’ needs to stay hydrated. As such, Baymax and company spray guests with water from onboard two floats.
Next door at Tokyo DisneySea, cast members will roam the park with water blasters during “Get Soaked Time” to cool off guests.
Increased Intensity on Water Attractions
Several water-based attractions throughout Tokyo Disney will soak guests with even more H2O than usual from July 2 – Sept. 18, 2024.

These will include the seasonally renamed Splash Mountain Get Soaked Max at Tokyo Disneyland and Aquatopia Get Soaked Version at Tokyo DisneySea. In addition, mist and water elements will deluge guests from several buildings in Mickey’s Toontown at Tokyo Disneyland.
Tokyo Disney Summer Merchandise
Guests can pick up brightly colored Tokyo Disney summer merchandise branded as SuiSui Summer, as well as new Baymax items, over the course of the summer.

Some of the products are available online.
Tokyo Disney Summer Dining
Specialty shaved ice, chilled churros, and more limited-time food (and souvenir food items) will be available throughout Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea as part of the parks’ summer season from July 2 – Sept. 18, 2024.

Additionally, the restaurants at Disney Ambassador Hotel will offer summer-themed meals from July 1 – Aug. 31, 2024.

Wreck-It Ralph, Elsa, and More Coming to Tokyo
On top of these summer activities, Tokyo Disney is concurrently hosting … a lot. Chief among this summer’s excitement is the Fantasy Springs expansion of Tokyo DisneySea, featuring themed areas and high-tech attractions based on “Peter Pan,” “Tangled,” and “Frozen.”
