New Roundup Rodeo BBQ table service restaurant coming to Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
As part of the 30th-anniversary festivities at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, a new Toy Story-themed table service restaurant has been announced for the park.
UPDATE – 04/30/19: We now have the official name and concept art for this new restaurant, along with some new details from the Disney Parks Blog!
Called Roundup Rodeo BBQ, this restaurant is a new “playset” built by Andy that resembles a rodeo – but not your average rodeo. Using three cardboard boxes cut and taped together, Andy has created a new rodeo arena with some of his favorite toys, games, and playsets.
Once inside, you’ll be surrounded by all the rodeo fun in-action, as well as western town and train station playsets. You also might see some of your favorite “Toy Story” characters there, but this time in the form of toys and game pieces – like Jessie riding on the back of a Trixie pull-toy and unique versions of Bo Peep and her sheep.
Set to be built in Toy Story Land, this new restaurant will be a “kaleidoscope of toys, games playsets, and experiences like no other,” according to the park’s vice president Phil Holmes.
